Medical Marketing Intern

SUMMARY:

Reporting to Manager, Medical Marketing, this individual will support various medical marketing projects while developing skills in working with cross-functional teams.  The focus of this role will be primarily on support speaker bureau programs and help build out the patient video initiative.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include, but are not limited to):

Speaker Program Support- Logistics & Execution

  • Work closely with Marketing, agency support, and Sales to support speaker program execution through generating reports, ensuring program compliance, and sales support with Veeva platform application
  • Develop speaker program survey and process for tracking feedback
  • Utilize salesforce feedback to identify and develop a best practice field user guide

Speaker Bureau Training Support

  • Work closely with agency support to help speaker bureau training planning.
    • Lead recruitment process for physician outreach
    • Lead contract process for speakers

Patient Video/Content Creation

  • Develop patient library excel spreadsheet database for marketing and medical to track patient consent
  • Update patient video storyboards when new patients consent and bring this through the PRC process

Advisory Board Planning & Execution

  • Support advisory board planning for a treatment team advisory board in July and develop an executive summary in coordination with The Lockwood Group

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Basic computer skills, including knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office suite such as Excel

-Hands on position, willing to contribute in a variety of capacities in fast past environment

-Possess strong verbal and written communication skills

-Proven ability to quickly learn new information and communicate this to the right individual

-Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 

Completion of coursework towards B.S. Marketing or other business disciplines highly desirable
