Independently perform LC-MS/MS (Liquid Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry) method development and sample analysis from various biological matrices (e.g. plasma and brain) to support pharmacokinetic and toxicokinetic studies. Independently perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of LC-MS/MS systems. Understand and interpret in-life study protocols and relevant regulatory requirements in bioanalysis to ensure successful study design and conduct. Assist in performing non-compartmental pharmacokinetic analysis. Prepare and review bioanalytical and pharmacokinetic data and reports.
Master’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field. 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of experience as a Researcher, Scientist, Investigator, or Manager, or any combination thereof in a Bioanalysis field. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field and 8 years of progressive experience in the job offered or 8 years of progressive experience as a Researcher, Scientist, Investigator, or Manager, or any combination thereof in a Bioanalysis field in lieu of a Master’s degree and 5 years of experience. Work experience to include: Biotechnology industrial experience in small molecule bioanalysis; Experience in non-compartmental pharmacokinetic data analysis; Experience with Bioanalytical software systems including one of the following: Analyst or MassLynx.
