Manager, Marketing Operations
This position builds, manages and maintains commercial cross functional commercial project plan for launch and related budget; Leads the selection process for the promotional material/samples fulfillment vendor; Creates processes for inventory materials management; Sets up new items on the material fulfillment warehouse ordering site; Assists with the quarantine, destruction and recall of marketing materials when required; Provides reports to the marketing teams that detail usage and inventory levels; Helps facilitate the annual brand planning process, keeps the schedule in alignment with the corporate calendar, and drives the team to completion of key deliverables from Situation Analysis to sales force Plan of Action; Serves as business systems owner for the Company’s promotional material management and review system; Creates, maintains, and distributes appropriate dashboards of key standards and metrics, and recommendations to improve process efficiency; Coordinates the centralized storage and maintenance of all digital assets used in promotion; Creates the integrated yearly commercial budget with input from all commercial functions and in partnership with Finance; Tracks performance to budget throughout the year, creates dashboards to highlight YTD spend to budget, and works with the commercial functions to manage expenses, submit accruals, etc. on an ongoing basis; Leads the selection process for the marketing campaign database management system in partnership with brand marketing; Serves as business owner for the system and manages the vendor relationship; Supports the marketing team users as they create, implement and distribute promotional campaigns; Leads the logistical execution of internal sales and marketing organization meetings and sales training meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS: Solid process and project management skills, including the development and implementation of new tools and processes from scratch; Ability to create detailed project timelines/schedules and implement processes for project tracking and status updates; Ability to source and manage multiple vendors with the goal of developing standardized, cost effective solutions; Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously is required; Experience with medical, regulatory, compliance, and promotional review processes; Meeting management experience; Outstanding organizational and computer skills (including Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word). Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Experience with Microsoft Project is preferred; Ability to work both independently and cross functionally as part of a team; Strong analytical and budget management skills.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in related field with a minimum of 4 years relevant marketing operations experience within the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry; Master’s degree is highly preferred.
