Research Informatics Developer
Neurocrine is seeking a Research Informatics Developer to assist the company’s analysis and visualization of in-vitro, in-vivo, and chemistry research data. The developer will create workflows for data analysis using R-Shiny for interpretation of experimental data throughout the research process with a focus on optimizing user experience. Additionally, the developer will provide data handling related recommendations for research LIMS management. The position requires the incumbent to work in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include, but are not limited to):
-Develop R scripts to analyze data from multiple sources in research
-Develop R Shiny visualizations for in-vitro and in-vivo experiments
-Recommend enhancements to data workflow processes
QUALIFICATIONS
-Expert in R/R-Shiny
-Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
-Strong attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills
-Experienced with html/javascript and user interface design
-Proficient in MS Office apps
-Able to provide ideas for data process improvements
-B.S. in any of Computer Science / Statistics / Bioinformatics / Biology / Chemistry areas with at least 2 years experience in informatics within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
