Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist
As a key team member of our growing HR team, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will identify, source, assess and hire a variety of positions within Neurocrine Biosciences. This position works closely with our HR business partners to create a positive candidate experience, act as a valuable resource, and collaborate seamlessly across multiple client groups. May also include recruiting responsibilities such as coordinate and schedule interviews, assist with streamlining processes and other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
Partner with hiring managers & HR Business Partners to develop a sourcing strategies for budgeted and replacement positions;
Ensure an outstanding candidate experience through consistent follow up communication and feedback to all parties involved;
Assist in the development of recruitment programs, strategies, plans, budgets, and collateral, such as brochures about the organization and our opportunities;
Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) and identify future talent pipelining opportunities for key positions. Consistently build A Player candidate pipelines for key positions, and source, screen and develop ongoing relationships with top commercial sales talent, building a solid candidate pool for replacement requisitions and field team builds;
Review resumes/applications and interview candidates for qualifications pertaining to work history, education, training, job knowledge and skills, and salary requirements, and to provide to candidates information about the organization and position; and
Limited travel may be required; and must be able to work from both the office and home office.
Outstanding communication skills (verbal & written);
Experience with various ATS and CRM platforms;
Proven utility experience sourcing and assessing passive talent;
Visible social recruiting skills on platforms such as LinkedIn;
Strong project management and multi-tasking skills are essential;
Must be able to meet deadlines and hiring goals in a fast-paced environment;
Solid experience recruiting, sourcing, interviewing, recommending and negotiating;
The candidate must be able to meet deadlines and hiring goals in a fast-paced environment; Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy; and
Proficiency in MS Office Suite is required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
BS in Business Administration or related degree and a minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience in the Life Sciences is required (or equivalent experience may be substituted), with at least 1 year of commercial recruiting experience highly preferred.
